WXPM is a non-commercial FM radio station serving the Phoenixville, Royersford, Spring City, and Pottstown area at 98.5 on your FM radio and worldwide at wxpm985.org.
Community radio is the newest form of media designed to meet the needs of communities in the shadow of major cities whos media outlets can't possibly cover the smaller towns outside the immediate city limits unless the story is big enough to merit reporting. WXPM joins the many stations dedicated to the local areas we serve to educate, entertain and inform. You can help support us by going to the Tri-County Community Programming Fund website.
The Tri-County Community Programming Fund, our parent company, was created in 2011 to support local charities including local radio, theater and music venues.
Our funding is provided by local businesses and private induviduals who understand the importance of locally produced programs. The education of our high school and college students in the media is a major part of our goal. We acknowledge that the support of our community is critical to bringing awareness of what the area has to offer businesswise as well as entertainment. Your support for us is a key factor in the growth of the area by way of the arts.
We provide internships open to all persons interested in the exciting and rewarding field of radio and Television.
